‘Tunisha Sharma Spoke To A Man Named Ali On Dating App Before She Died By Suicide’ Claims Sheezan Khan's Lawyers In Court-Report
Sheezan Khan's Lawyers allege that Tunisha Sharma spoke to a man named Ali on a dating app before committing a suicide
Actor Sheezan Khan is currently under judicial custody on charges of abetment to suicide in the death case of Tunisha Sharma. On Monday, his hearing in Vasai court took place where his lawyers alleged Tunisha spoke to a man named Ali on a dating app before she died by suicide on 24th December 2022. The lawyers told the court that the late actor was with Ali a few days before she committed suicide.
According to the latest report in the news agency PTI, Sheezan's lawyers told the judge that Tunisha was with Ali between December 21-23 last year. After hearing the arguments of both prosecution and defense, District and Additional Sessions Judge at Vasai RD Deshpande granted the request for time put forward by Tunisha's counsel and adjourned the hearing on the bail plea till January 11. Sheezan's counsels, Shailendra Mishra and Sharad Rai mentioned in the court that their client is innocent and is not connected to Tunisha's death in any way. They even claimed that the late actress was on a video call for 15 minutes with Ali before her alleged suicide. The counsels also pointed out that no suicide note was recovered from the spot.
For the unversed, Tunisha was found hanging on the sets of her television show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul at Palghar's Vasai. Reportedly, Sheezan and Tunisha were in a relationship but they parted ways a fortnight before the actress committed suicide. It is being reported that Sharma was disturbed after her break-up with the actor.
Yesterday, Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma accused Sheezan of forcing her daughter to take drugs. She even alleged his whole family used Tunisha and is responsible for her death.
